Widely regarded as the most demanding and intensive advocacy course in the UK, and among the finest in the world, the Tim Dutton CBE KC Advanced International Advocacy Course at Keble College, Oxford offers a supportive, collegiate environment in which participants work alongside some of the great advocates of this generation.
Every participant undertakes written and oral advocacy exercises, all filmed for review. Plenary sessions, small-group work and one-to-one video feedback are provided throughout the week. Faculty consists of senior juniors, silks and judges who have undergone specific training for this course. The ratio of participant to faculty is approximately 2.5:1.

Eligible: practising members of the Bar, three or more years post-pupillage. No upper limit on year of call.
Scholarships
Up to 25 scholarships are available through the Inns of Court and the Criminal Bar Association — five from each — for members practising in publicly funded work. Members are strongly encouraged to apply.
