The Thames Valley Bar Mess represents the interests of practitioners who attend its main court centres of Reading, Oxford and Aylesbury, both locally and at SEC meetings.

Having been revived in 2007, the Mess now has 70 members and tries to meet twice a year; once for the AGM followed by a drinks reception and also for an annual dinner, usually held at an Oxford College or the Forbury Hotel in Reading. Both events are well attended by the Judiciary.

 

The present subscription is £25 pa.
