SEC Criminal Fee Reform Meeting

The MoJ and CPS fee reviews continue apace.  But we need your help to provide the evidence needed to build cases to present to the Treasury for more funds.

Please volunteer to attend meetings and workshops which are put on for this purpose, and send examples when we call for evidence.

There will be a key meeting with the CPS at 23 Essex Street after court on Wedneday 31st July with a focus on the implementation of the scheme that will come into effect on 1st September (now referred to as Scheme D) as well a wider discussion on aspects of the CPS/Bar relationship.   There are up to 50 spaces and I would hope that as many sets as possible send a couple of delegates.

Please email the administrator if you want a place.  Priority will be given to Members of the Circuit but all criminal practitioners who prosecute are of course welcome.
