Learned Friends at the Central Criminal Court

"Learned Friends" by former barrister, Ginny Davis, is a "lively, intelligent courtroom drama"  (Leamington Spa Courier), "truly captivating, witty and engaging" and "beautifully crafted, intriguing and entertaining" according to previous audience members. It comes to London following two sell out runs at Old Shire Hall, Warwick and performances at Shire Hall Gallery, Stafford, both former Crown Court venues.

Synopsis: Prosecution and defence counsel await the verdict in a high profile criminal trial. Prosecution counsel is bored; defence counsel preoccupied. Each holds a secret.  Irregularities in the trial emerge which threaten friendships, careers and the true course of justice.  Two women at the height of their game employ career defining advocacy skills to defend what they believe is right.  Who wins?  Guess.
